The Farnes...

Andy Grinter was lucky enough to visit the Farne Islands last week and he connected with all the target species you would expect to see there during the summer. Here are some of the wonderful close-up views he had:

Grey Seal: A. Grinter
Shag: A. Grinter
Guillemot: A. Grinter
Auk colony: A. Grinter
Puffin: A. Grinter
Razorbill: A. Grinter
Kittiwake: A. Grinter
Puffins: A. Grinter
Puffin: A. Grinter
Guillemot: A. Grinter
Arctic Tern: A. Grinter
Common Tern: A. Grinter
Eider, male: A. Grinter
Fulmars: A. Grinter
Razorbill: A. Grinter
Roseate Tern: A. Grinter
Sandwich Tern: A. Grinter
Andy managed a bit of video of the Arctic Terns in (very) windy conditions too, which can be seen here.

Last but by no means least, Andy travelled back via Norfolk to twitch the singing male Spectacled Warbler current residing at Gunn Hill Dunes, Burnham Overy. What a way to finish your holiday!
