Signs of Autumn...

Many thanks to Dave Helliar for supplying images he's taken over the last couple of weeks around the local area. The first wood sandpiper of the year (and stunning pics they are too), a sure sign that things are on the move and autumn passage has begun...but summer hasn't finished yet,  here are a few insects from Dave's garden in Chard - all taken on a bridge camera:
