The pond at Whitestaunton continues to produce the goods with damselflies having now emerged and no doubt dragonflies not too far behind. Large Red

Coenagrion puella are well represented at the moment with dozens of each vying for space in the sedges along the pond edge, occasionally settling within reach on the lower vegetation.
